A Welcome from Abigail

I'm Abigail Fiske, sisterhood member, fellow congregant, and the Gift Shop manager. The Gift Shop is an important part of the TBS community and I am here to assist you with both your purchases and special requests from gift registries to special order items.

There is a wonderful Yiddish word, schmy. It means to wander and is often used to refer to window shopping and bargain hunting. As the shop manager, I have the great fortune of schmying for you as I look for the best Judaica items I can find for the shop. Each holiday brings new treasures from simple Rosh Hashanah greeting cards, beautiful Hanukkah items, Passover Seder plates, to more everyday needs of Havdalah candles, mezuzahs, and jewelry. When you bring Jewish items into your home you celebrate your connection to Judaism.

This year the Gift Shop will be hosting several craft events and special sales. We hope to involve everyone in the beauty of Jewish art.

The Gift Shop is volunteer run and all proceeds benefit Sisterhood programs and the TBS community. If you'd like to donate your time, and schmy little in the process, we'd love to have your help.
