From Strength-to-Strength

From Strength-to-Strength: A TBS Philanthropy Campaign

Announcing the launch of TBS’s 2022 Philanthropy Campaign, From Strength-to-Strength. We ask for your participation and support.

Beginning the week of February 1st and running through April 1st, TBS hosts a Campaign that honors the installation of Rabbi Widzer and Miles Roger and celebrates our community.  The Campaign will provide resources to the TBS community to advance the vision of TBS – create a community of belonging through transformative Jewish living and learning – going from strength-to-strength as we invest in our community now and build for our future.

As Rabbi Widzer made a sacred commitment to TBS through his installation as our second Senior Rabbi, we too make a sacred commitment to be his partner. It is in this spirit that we launch our Campaign, From Strength-to-Strength.

Our goal is to raise $36,000 to invest in our Jewish lives now and for our future, through three pillars:

  1. Youth Scholarships: Provide scholarships to TBS youth to attend Jewish summer camps in 2022.
  2. Sustaining our Future: Provide long-term support for TBS through The Temple B’nai Shalom Rabbi Amy R. Perlin and Gary L. Perlin Endowment.
  3. Vibrant Community: Strengthen and enhance temple life through programming and technology enhancements.

To reach our goal, we’re asking every member of the TBS community to honor the installations of our Senior Rabbi and Educator by supporting these three transformative activities.

100% of All Funds Donated will Be Matched – Doubling Your Impact!

Thanks to two generous donor families, your contributions to From Strength-to-Strength will be matched, dollar-for-dollar!  That means 100% of your gift to TBS will be matched by our donors, to double the value!  Give $18 and TBS will receive $36. Give $180 and we’ll receive $360. Give $1,800 and we’ll receive $3,600!

Over the next two months we’ll be sharing news of our collective progress on the Campaign and stories about the activities that it will underwrite.

Please join us in supporting our beloved TBS community at this transformative moment in our congregation’s history with a donation at any level.

B’shalom,
