The Adult Education – LIFE (Learning is for Everyone) – programs are designed to support one of the core values of Temple B’nai Shalom: to provide opportunities for our members to explore and engage Judaism through lifelong learning. We have adopted the name LIFE to reaffirm our strong and ongoing commitment to serve the needs of our entire membership with lifelong opportunities for learning and growth.  The programs are open for all adult members of the congregation and include study sessions with the rabbis and lay leaders through a variety of lenses,  including study of Torah and Talmud, exploration of other Jewish texts, and discussing what Jewish philosophers might have to say on the subject. No previous Jewish knowledge is required. Programs are offered at different times during the week including after Friday night services.

Each year, we select a LIFE program theme and provide a variety of opportunities throughout the year to explore it.

In addition, we offer Adult Hebrew classes for those interested in improving their skills with prayer and/or interested in an Adult B’nai Mitzvah.
